Pls help out with any info on performing this mod.
I know I can repatch and burn them to cdr but would prefer the bios mod do to bein to lazy to burn some more copies. Pre-flashed Sega CD multi-BIOS EPROM chip for the Megamod This EPROM is pre-flashed with all three original region BIOS files (EUR/USA/JAP) without any. The reason I'm looking for this mod is I have 3 CD systems (Mega CD EUR 1, Sega CD US 2, MEGA CD JAP 1) and am sick of having them all here just to play the different games on harware. Can anyone help in the order of joining the bioses or any other info which may help. I have read details on how to make the multi bios (Combine original bios and other bioses on one chip with selection switches to trigger each bios) but would not have a clue where to start - I know how to combine them, have a eeprom writer (or access anyway) that will do the chip. I have tried to arange to buy the mod but I don't use paypal (bad mojo) and thats all thats accepted. I have been looking at the multi- bios mod perfomed by arakon on The Tavern. (ie actually moving the textured tiles in 3 dementions, spinnging them diagonally and such -1.Was wondering if anyone could assist with this. The 2.0 bios lacks the trails left behind the emplems and displays the warping capabilities better. Nope, the BG and logos are the same but the demos are very different, I prefer 2.0 at some points, but 1.10 is more lively in geneal. (And what better way could there be of spending one's Friday night, than discussing Sega CD bios screens? ) ) And I reckon he's already fallen over on that slippy floor at least once. Generally this would be a plus - but he does look strange. And 2.00 is basically the same as the PAL 2.00, except Sonic has snuck in somehow. Perhaps fitting, given its performance in Japan. 1.00 is just a Sega CD logo flittering around in the wind. I just got my Sega CD Model 2 (2.00 BIOS) and you should indeed be getting music when it turns on, even without a controller or a disc inserted. :roll: And they could've at least recoloured the planet for 2.00 - why is it that colour? Is it some other planet entirely? In which case, why should I care?Īlso, the Sega CD logo is clearly wordart - which automatically disqualifies it, in my book. Regardless, clean the connector on the Genesis, and check for dust in the slot of the Sega CD. It seems the US only had that one screen, and just changed the music? So, the PAL Mega CD1 bios is an epic battle for supremacy between the Sega logo and the Mega CD logo, and it takes place in outer space.Ģ.00.
