If you have an external hard drive and you follow these instructions, all you have to do is plug the drive into the One X and download the system settings before you start playing in 4K. When the One X powers up you’ll be given the chance to load the settings from the hard drive. Plug the external drive into the One X before you power it on. If you want to make sure the transferred settings are identical to the settings in place when you make the switch to the One X, check the Keep backup current box. You can see a list of what will and won't be transferred by tapping What gets backed up? Tap Back up to device. Go to Settings>System>Backup & transfer and tap Back up my settings.
